Investment Strategy

The Fund’s objective is to provide total returns consisting principally of interest income by investing primarily in short term fixed income and floating rate debt securities of Canadian and foreign issuers. The Fund’s portfolio will primarily be invested in fixed income and floating rate debt securities of Canadian and foreign issuers. It also may invest in debt securities convertible into common stock, and fixed income and floating rate debt securities of governments, government agencies, supranational agencies, companies, trusts and limited partnerships. The Fund will not be leveraged.

Biography	Vivek attended the University of New Delhi, graduating with a Masters in Economics in 1994. He then completed the MBA program at University of Manchester in 1997. Vivek then worked as a Senior Analyst, Credit Rating at ICRA, Moody's Indian affiliate for three years. He then moved to HCL Technologies as Manager of Investor Relations for two years. Vivek was awarded his CFA charter in 2004. He joined Canso in 2002 where he is a credit analyst and portfolio manager.
