Investment Strategy

The investment target of LBBW Rohstoffe 1 is to supply the shareholders with earnings, which are linked to the performance of LBBW TOP-10-COMMODITY-INDEX ER. With regard to commodity earnings the fund enters into swaps on the LBBW TOP-10-COMMODITY-INDEX ER. The index comprises 10 commodities from different sectors of the Bloomberg Commodity Index. The sectors agricultural and livestock are not taken into consideration. The commodities are reviewed quarterly, exchanged if necessary and weighted at 10% each. The underlying index prefers commodities with an attractive forward curve (positive roll yield).
