The mutual fund Tapiola Infra invests its assets globally on the equity markets. The investment objects of the mutual fund are companies that participate in infrastructure-related projects or benefit from such projects, own infrastructure-related property or are engaged in infrastructure-related business. The assets are invested in shares of between 30-40 carefully selected companies in order to attain a sufficient spread in different companies and geographical areas. The investments are allocated to several industries and geographical areas in order to have a more wide-ranging allocation than sector mutual funds and to reach a stable value increase. The companies are analysed carefully and especially the company cash flow, profitability and balance sheet. Each investment object is also subject to a responsibility analysis. The fund can invest in derivatives in order to promote efficient portfolio management or protect itself from unfavourable market changes.
