Investment Strategy

The investment seeks total return, comprised of current income and capital appreciation. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in fixed-income securities, and in derivatives and other instruments that have economic characteristics similar to such securities. It invests primarily in investment grade fixed-income securities. The fund may invest up to 25% of its net assets in foreign debt securities, including debt securities of issuers located in emerging markets countries. The adviser will attempt to maintain a dollar-weighted average portfolio maturity and duration of less than three years.

Previously, Mr. Waldner was a member of the Macro team at Omega Advisors and a portfolio manager with Glaxo (Bermuda) Ltd. He entered the industry in 1986. Mr. Waldner earned a BSE degree in civil engineering from Princeton University in 1986. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Biography John Craddock is portfolio manager and head of investment grade bond trading. In this capacity, he oversees investment grade corporate bond and credit default swap trading and also serves as a total-return portfolio manager. Additionally, as a sector specialist, he is responsible for trading and monitoring corporate bond positions in utilities, non-corporate/sovereign/taxable municipal and various industrial sub-sectors including energy and transportation. Since joining Invesco Advisers, Inc and/or its affiliates in July 1999, Mr. Craddock has also traded mortgage-backed securities and served as a stable value portfolio manager. Prior to joining Invesco, Mr. Craddock was a project engineer with Arvin Industries, Inc. Mr. Craddock earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in mechanical engineering from Clemson University. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Tech’s Dupree School of Management with a concentration in finance. He is a CFA charterholder.

Biography Brien is a portfolio manager at Invesco Aim. A native of Ogden, Iowa, Brien began her investment career in 1981, and held positions of increasing responsibility at American General Corporation and MBank, both financial services organizations. She joined the company in 1996 as a product specialist in Institutional Marketing before taking on the role of fixed-income research analyst in 1999. She became a portfolio manager in 2009. She holds a BA degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a CFA charterholder.
