Through investing in the master fund, the feeder fund seeks to achieve capital appreciation by diversifying the assets in accordance with the rules of the fund and by managing the assets actively. At the minimum 85% of the assets of the feeder fund is continuously invested in the corresponding Nora master fund. In addition to this, the feeder fund can use currency derivatives. The return of the feeder fund may deviate from the return of the master fund depending on the weight of the liquid funds of the NAV per feeder fund (15% at the maximum). The master fiunds are balanced funds which are also fund of funds. The master funds mainly invest in fixed-income and equity funds managed by fund companies belonging to the Nordea Group. The fund can also make direct equity and fixed-income investments and invest in ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) and other external funds. The proportion of direct investments of the master fund’s assets can be 45% at the most.
