Investment Strategy

The Portfolio seeks to increase the value of your investment over time through capital growth. Under normal market conditions, the Portfolio typically invests at least 80%, and not less than two thirds, of its assets in equity securities of companies that are organised, or have substantial business, in Europe. These companies may be of any market capitalisation and industry. The Portfolio’s equity investments may include convertible securities, depositary receipts, REITs and ETFs. The Portfolio may invest in, or be exposed to, the following asset classes up to the percentages of assets indicated: equity securities from Emerging Markets: 30%. The Portfolio may be exposed to any currency.

Mr. Lavi has been a member of the Cross Border team since early 2012. Previously, Mr. Lavi served as co-CIO of Global Value Equities and global director of Value Research. From 2006 to 2012, he was CIO of UK and European Value Equities, and director of research for UK and European Value Equities from 2000 to 2006. Lavi holds a BA from Bar-Ilan University and an MBA from NYU.
