Investment Strategy

The fund’s investment objective is to achieve the highest possible return. Income is reinvested in the fund or distributed. The benchmark for the fund is the MSCI World Health Care TR Net. The benchmark is not replicated; it merely serves as a starting point for investment decisions. The fund management seeks to outperform the benchmark. At least 51% of the fund’s assets must be invested in equities. In doing so, investments must be made in equities of internationally operating companies whose revenues or earnings, as reported in the most recent annual report, were generated primarily from the health care sector, or whose expenditure was primarily on this sector. Up to 20% of the fund’s assets may be invested in interest-bearing securities. Up to 49% of the fund’s assets may be invested in money market instruments and bank balances, respectively. The Company may invest up to 10% of the fund’s assets in units of other funds (investment fund units).
