The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P MidCap 400 Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. It was formerly known as SSgA SPDR ETFs Europe I Public Limited Company - SPDR S&P 400 US Mid Cap ETF. SSgA SPDR ETFs Europe I Public Limited Company - SPDR S&P 400 US Mid Cap UCITS ETF was formed on January 30, 2012 and is domiciled in Ireland.
