Trading the News Strategies

Financial News, Economic Events and Political Events are often mix up and some traders think they are interchangeable, but each type of event or news headline causes different market actions and need different strategies. In this class, we will review each type of news and the strategies best suited for the events. We will look at how to determine which assets will be most effects and how to predict their moves and volatility. We will look at the Slingshot strategy, the News Reversal Strategy and the Risk On Risk Off Strategy.

John is an active trader and educator at Investors Trading Academy with an MBA in Finance from New York University.  He began trading in 1995 focusing mainly on commodities and options, then transformed into forex investment.
