Mortgage Approvals report the number of new mortgages approved for house purchases over the prior month. The data tends to have a limited impact because the majority of mortgages are covered by the BBA Mortgage Approvals data released a few days earlier.

A reading that is stronger than forecast is generally supportive (bullish) for the GBP, while a weaker than forecast reading is generally negative (bearish) for the GBP.
