CPI-ATE (CPI adjusted for tax changes and excluding energy products) is an indicator that is built upon the main components of CPI-AE and CPI-AT. Core inflation, adjusted for taxes and energy prices, is the measure used by the central bank in setting interest rates in its role of maintaining price stability.
A reading that is stronger than forecast is generally supportive (bullish) for the NOK , while a weaker than forecast reading is generally negative (bearish) for the NOK.
