Fed officials always said- higher for longer, It means Fed never stops this year- increasing rate hike tools until achieving it's goal to get inflation down to 2%.

Dollar is world's reserve currency and the US held three fourth of the world's gold supply, No other country had enough gold to go back to as it replacement. Hence after this agreement, US dollar became the most desirable currency and all other major currencies were allowed to float against the US dollar, it means it's never ever trash.

Disha Chavan although the US has more than any other it is far more evenly distributed nowadays. Germany have half as much gold. Russian and China combined have about half as much also. Gold reserves don’t really reflect the strength of an economy so it’s only really relevant in times of global distress

No country including Russia, Chaina or any other big country... gives large supply of guaranteed treasury bonds like US which is secure, and all knows Chaina and Russia real nature.
