Wilson Leung – Director of Trendsetter FX – spoke to Nick Batsford on Tip TV to discuss the current directions from FX pairings USD/JPY, and EUR/USD.
USD/JPY – Wilson Leung believes that is should be go higher if NFP figures are positive, but until then there is some pressure on the dollar. Leung thinks that there is support at 118.60, but it could retest 116.15 if it breaks below. 120-124 the key level on an upside break.
EUR/USD – Leung believes that it is currently consolidating, with a key level at 1.13. Breaking above this could see a move to 1.1460, however it’s hard to call until the NFP release on Friday. 1.1147 is the support level for the euro, and Leung is bullish at these levels, however he recommends having a stop loss at 1.11
