Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Investment, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Conconcret (CN:CIC), which rose 10.12% or 41.0 points to trade at 446.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 3.77% or 230.0 points to end at 6330.0 and Promigas (CN:PMG) was up 0.43% or 30.0 points to 7050.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS), which lost 2.65% or 980.0 points to trade at 36020.0 in late trade. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) declined 2.78% or 1000.0 points to end at 35000.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) shed 1.55% or 300.0 points to 19000.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 14 to 13 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.38% or 0.39 to $102.78 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.64% or 38.00 to hit $2357.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1213.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 1.10% to 3001.35, while BRL/COP rose 1.58% to 728.56.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 94.45.
