| Biography | Richard Thies is the lead portfolio manager of the Driehaus Global strategy and a portfolio manager for the Driehaus Emerging Markets Growth and Driehaus Emerging Markets Small Cap Equity strategies. Mr. Thies leads the Driehaus Emerging Markets team’s coverage of the financial sector and has primary responsibility for macroeconomic analysis. His macroeconomic analysis, idea generation, security analysis, portfolio construction, and risk management responsibilities are leveraged across the strategies managed by the Driehaus Emerging Markets team. Additionally, he serves on DCM's executive committee. Mr. Thies has spent his entire career focused on emerging markets. In advance of his time at The Northern Trust, Mr. Thies worked in microfinance banking in sub-Saharan Africa with both the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group and Opportunity International. | Biography | Max Heitner is the director of research and risk management. He is responsible for developing and recommending risk strategies to achieve DCM's investment goals as well as assisting in the analysis of investment ideas which meet investment objectives and portfolio requirements.
