Investment Strategy

Liquidity & capital appreciation through investments in short and medium term non-interest bearing international trade finance transactions, Islamic money market instruments, corporate Sukuk, sovereign Sukuk, and units of other Islamic money market funds and structured Islamic money market instruments. The Benchmark index shall be SIBOR 1 month index adjusted for management fees. The Fund's strategy depends on the outlook of interest rates, which vary from time to time depending upon liquidity and market conditions, bearing in mind that the Fund's overall strategy is to invest in all Islamic (Shariah Compliant) fixed income based instruments. Additionally, the Fund shall invest no more than 20% of its assets in long – term instruments.
