Investment Strategy

The Momentum MoM Ultra Long - term Value Fund is a specialist equity portfolio that seeks to achieve capital appreciation over rolling 5-year cycles as its primary objective by taking larger sectoral and active share positions. Risk is reduced through a diversified portfolio of shares across most sectors of the FTSE/JSE. The portfolio will, apart from assets in liquid form, invest in high quality equity securities or companies with varying market capitalisation and that are perceived to be offering value potential over a rolling 5-year cycle. The investment manager in following its investment strategy shall invest in assets it believes to offer superior fundamental value and shall seek opportunities to achieve the investment objective as set out above over a rolling 5-yearcycle. This investment strategy is often referred to as contrarian in that the investment manager may concentrate on shares that are neglected by the broader market.
