Biography Mr Gan Kong Yik (“Mr Gan”) joined KAF Investment Funds Berhad on 1 July 2014 as a fund manager managing a pension fund and private mandate funds. Before joining KAF, Mr Gan was a fund manager with Pheim Asset Management Sdn Bhd since July 2012. In Pheim, he was given the task to co-manage 12 portfolios, ranging from pension funds, unit trust funds with individual mandates. For the regional market, he covered China, India, Vietnam and the Philippines. Prior to Pheim, Mr Gan was a Senior Dealer in Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad. A dozen years of experience in the stock broking industry has equipped him with an indepth understanding of the Malaysian stock market, trading mechanics and regulations governing the listing/trading of securities. Mr Gan has a degree in Economics and Finance from The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, Melbourne, Australia.

Biography Tock Chin Hui (Head of Equity) joined Manulife in May 2010 and is responsible for the equity portfolios as well as overseeing the equity team in Malaysia. She has more than 15 years’ of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining Manulife, she was Deputy Head of Equities of a foreign joint venture unit trust/fund management company. During her tenure there, the fund house won. The Edge-Lipper awards such as Best Equity Group 2009 (3yrs) last year. She holds a Capital Markets and Services Representative License issued by the Securities Commission in fund management.
Nicholas Tiong Yee Ng - 2002 2020
Biography Nicholas graduated from the University of Surrey, England, with a BSc (Honours) in Economics. Following a brief period with Price Waterhouse, he joined Wardley Investment Services (Singapore) Limited (now known as Hongkong Bank Asset Management) in 1987, and later with Warburg Asset Management (now known as Blackrock Asset Management) in London in 1990. After two years in London, he was seconded to its subsidiary company in Singapore as Assistant Director. Apart from supervising the fund management operation in Singapore and monitoring the Pacific (ex- Japan) stock markets, he was directly responsible for managing assets exceeding US$500 million in the region for unit trusts, Tokkin funds, pension, quasi-government and institutional accounts. Nicholas is a qualified Certified Financial Planner and was also one of the co-founders of the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia, which is licensed by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (USA).
