To provide shareholders with investment growth in the medium to long term. The fund mainly invests in European covered bonds. Specifically, the fund invests at least two thirds of total assets in covered bonds that are denominated in European currencies or that are issued by companies or financial institutions that are domiciled, or conduct the majority of their business, in Europe. In actively managing the fund’s portfolio, the management team selects securities that appear to offer superior investment opportunities.

Biography | Flemming Thestrup studied Finance at the Aarhus School of Business and San Francisco State University, and graduated with a Masters degree in 1996. After graduating, he joined Unibank Markets, Copenhagen, where he worked with investments in the retail department for private clients. As part of his responsibilities, he also trained Unibank’s investment advisers in investment strategies. Flemming joined Unibank Luxembourg in 1999 as Fund Manager, occupying the same position in Nordea Bank S.A. He was responsible for Danish Bond Funds, Euro Bond Fund, DKK Reserve and EUR Reserve. In 2003, he transferred to Copenhagen where he works as a Portfolio Manager specialising in Danish mortgage bonds. |
