The investment objective of the Sub-Fund is a long-term investment in a diversified portfolio of insurance-linked investments. The Sub-Fund has a high risk and high return profile and focuses on collateralised reinsurance contracts. The objective of the Sub-Fund is in principle to achieve a low correlation to the returns on traditional bond, equity and alternative investments and relatively low fluctuations in value, depending on the occurrence or non-occurrence of insured events. The Sub-Funds is managed by a team of industry experts.

Biography | Michael Stahel joined Credit Suisse in 2006 and runs the insurance-linked investment unit at Clariden Leu Alternative Investments. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Michael spent eight years with Swiss Re in various positions; the last four years as a Vice President at the Retro + Syndication unit, structuring Cat Bonds and trading Risk Derivatives. Michael holds a BA in Economics from the Zurich University of Applied Science and an MBA in Corporate Finance from Rochester University (NY). |
