The Fund’s investment objective is to generate long term capital growth from rapid and sustained growth anticipated by the Investment Manager in the resource efficiency and environmental markets in certain countries in the Asia Pacific Region. These countries are predominantly China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, India, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand.

Biography | Manish joined Impax’s Listed Investments Team in April 2023 as a Portfolio Manager, based in Hong Kong. From October 2023 he will co-manage the Asian Environmental and Asian Opportunities strategies. Manish has more than a decade of experience in Asian equities. Prior to Impax, Manish was a Portfolio Manager on the Asian Progress Fund at Macquarie Asset Management. He also served as a Senior Investment Analyst focusing on Asian Thematic Investments during his time in Macquarie. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Manish also holds a certificate in Sustainable Finance from the University of Cambridge. Biography | Oscar co-manages the Asian Environmental Markets Strategy and Asian Opportunities Strategy with David Li. He has broad expertise in the environmental markets sub-sectors and research responsibility covering the entire universe with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. Oscar joined Impax in 2011 as an analyst focusing on Asia-Pacific research. He began his career in the financial industry and environmental markets in 2007, previously working at Origo Partners as an investment associate and assistant fund manager, and prior to that at Midas Holdings. Biography | Kirsteen co-manages the Global Opportunities strategy and is an interim manager on the Asian Environmental and Asian Opportunities strategies. She is also a member of the Pax Sustainable Allocation Fund portfolio management team.Kirsteen joined Impax in September 2009. She began her career in the investment industry in 1987, investing in Asian equities as a portfolio manager at Royal London and Henderson Global Investors. She returned from Singapore in 2001 to head the SRI Investment team at Henderson Global Investors in London. Subsequently, Kirsteen worked within global equities. | ||

Biography | David co-manages both the Asian Environmental Markets Strategy and Asian Opportunities Strategy with Oscar Yang. He has broad expertise of environmental markets sub-sectors and researches stocks globally with a focus on the Asia-Pacific region. David joined Impax in 2007, initially on secondment from Ajia Partners, before becoming a full-time employee in 2011. He began his career in the investment industry in 1997. He was the Head of Small and Mid-Cap Research for Asia ex-Japan at Deutsche Bank Securities, and Head of Regional Media Research at ING Securities. David graduated from the University of New South Wales in Australia with majors in Accounting and Finance. David also has experience in auditing and is a qualified CPA and CFA®. | ||

Biography | Bruce serves as Impax's Chief Investment Officer, Listed Investments. Bruce is one of Impax Asset Management's longest-serving employees. He developed the firm's listed equities business and the division's investment thesis. He is responsible for overseeing and enhancing all aspects of the listed investments business, including monitoring performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and spearheading product design. Bruce is a co-Portfolio Manager of the Specialists and Climate strategy. |
