Investment Strategy

The investment objective of the fund is to provide long-term growth of capital through a prudent balance of income and capital appreciation. The fund invests in both fixed income and equity securities of Canadian governments and corporations. In pursuing both income and capital gains the proportion of assets invested in fixed income and equity securities is unconstrained and may vary at the discretion of the fund manager depending upon prevailing economic and market conditions. The fund may also invest in foreign securities up to the limit imposed under the Tax Act, so that the assets of the fund will not be considered foreign content.
