The investment objective of the Sub-Fund is to achieve long term capital appreciation primarily through an actively managed portfolio of equity or equity related investments (such as fixed or floating rate convertible bonds issued by corporate, sovereign or institutional issuers of above or below investment grade or warrants) in Asia (excluding Japan).

Biography | Joseph is head of the Atlantis Asia ex-Japan team and is Fund Adviser to the Atlantis Asian Recovery Fund. He joined Atlantis in July 2008 and established our Singapore office. Joseph was previously at Deutsche Asset Management and has more than 16 years experience as a manager of Asia ex Japan investments. Before joining Deutsche Asset Management in 2004, he was an associate Director at INVESCO Asset Management, where he was the manager of the award-winning INVESCO GT ASEAN Fund. | ||

Biography | Tony joined EFG Asset Management in 2010 as a Director and is the Senior Portfolio Manager of New Capital Global Equity Income Fund. Prior to joining EFGAM, Tony co-founded Atlantis Investment Management and managed the Asian Recovery Fund from 1996 to 2009. From 1984 to 1996 Tony was based in Hong Kong with Schroder Investment Management (HK) Ltd and served as a director and portfolio manager for the Schroder Far East Growth Fund as well as pension funds and other specialist Asian mandates. Tony is a non-executive director of the PXP Emerging Equity Fund. He holds a BSc (Hons) Economics, from the London School of Economics. |
