Investment Strategy

The Sub-Fund's investment objective is to achieve medium to long-term capital growth and a reasonable level of income by investing primarily in equities of the United Arab Emirates listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, Dubai Financial Market and the Nasdaq Dubai. The Sub-Fund is actively managed. The Sub-Fund is benchmarked against the MSCI All United Arab Emirates 10-40 Index for the purpose of measuring the performance of the Sub-Fund. The Investment Manager is not bound by the components or weighting of the Index when selecting investments. The Sub-Fund’s investment universe is expected to overlap materially with the components of the Index.

Biography	Sami Benghezal is a Fund Manager with the ADCB Asset management team; he’s responsible for security selection, portfolio construction, fund management and trading activities since February 2009. Sami joined ADCB as a research manager, responsible for United Arab Emirates equity research. Prior to ADCB, Sami began his career in Canada as a portfolio analyst with one of Canada's largest banks. Sami holds a M.Sc. International Finance and Economics from Universite de Montreal, Canada as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales, Montreal, Canada. Sami is a CFA Charter holder and a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM®).
