Nonfarm Productivity measures the annualised change in labour efficiency when producing goods and services, excluding the farming industry. Higher productivity has the ability to boost workers wages without generating inflation.

A reading that is stronger than forecast is generally supportive (bullish) for the USD, while a weaker than forecast reading is generally negative (bearish) for the USD.
