The National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) gross domestic product (GDP) Estimate estimates GDP during the prior three months. The NIESR estimates GDP data on a monthly basis in an attempt to predict the quarterly government-released data.

A reading that is stronger than forecast is generally supportive (bullish) for the GBP, while a weaker than forecast reading is generally negative (bearish) for the GBP.
