The Corporate Services Price Index (CSPI) measures the change in the selling prices of services purchased by companies in Japan. In essence, the CGPI reports the Japanese inflation rate from the service sector's point of view. It is one indicator of future consumer inflation trends.

A reading that is stronger than forecast is generally supportive (bullish) for the JPY, while a weaker than forecast reading is generally negative (bearish) for the JPY.
