if i have a few pips in the bag before data i will close half and put a break even stop loss in then data doesnt matter.
I would never have thought FTSE would find itself attractive and at this level.

its only a 30 pip pullback so far from the high, 1hr and 4hr charts are very bullish but you need to have pullbacks to test previous resistance/support

closed that for -5.
It's a big day for data today, so all positions closed and no trading for me until after the data comes out. Powell called the PPI data yesterday mixed rather than h0t. Expect volatility, whipsaws and manage risks on your current positions folks. Its best to sit out for now until you see a good setup. Good luck with your trades.
FTSE is a whole new ball game

I have two longs running from 3 weeks ago Mr CP (co owner of salon is away and I have no time to trade.). I feel to leave them running. Please keep doing comments. GL.
Data is already in the price so any pullback on CPI is buy on the dip
Thank you. I have one long on Nasdaq. US seems to ignore bad data but I will buy dip today if it happens. I feel this is still part of recovery from lost 2022 year.

I hope you are right, would get me out of a silly trapped bear position. I need to observe Alex and CP more and benefit from their excellent trading. Also need to stop myself taking positions in the late evening after two bottles of red , which is what got me into this trap.
thanks ElCid. whats your entry lower down? we are all guilty of red wine trading.
re entered. better entry. will set stop loss to break even very quickly
