Investing.com - U.K. stocks edged lower Thursday after earnings spate, jump in sterling.
The FTSE 100 was off 0.12% at 05:15 ET.
The pound was up 0.18% at $1.3140 at levels last seen in September of last year as Fed sounds dovish.
Sterling was up 0.25% against the euro at €1.1204. The yield on the 10-year gilt dipped below 1.2%.
