Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Transport and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290), which rose 3.83% or 0.55 points to trade at 14.90 at the close. Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280) added 3.19% or 0.69 points to end at 22.35 and Abdullah Al Othaim Markets Company (SE:4001) was up 2.33% or 2.50 points to 110.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100), which lost 4.74% or 1.27 points to trade at 25.50 in late trade. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 4.02% or 2.06 points to end at 49.20 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) shed 3.69% or 1.50 points to 39.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 111 to 53 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.94% or 0.58 to $60.85 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.91% or 0.59 to hit $65.11 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.50% or 5.90 to trade at $1180.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.78% to 4.2139, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.68% at 95.22.
