(Reuters) - Italian eyewear group Safilo said on Friday it had signed contracts to transfer its Longarone plant to Thelios, a unit of luxury house LVMH (EPA:LVMH) and Innovatek.
Safilo, which makes eyewear for brands including Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger, said it expects to complete the operation by the end of October.
The Padua-based company earlier this month also signed a deal for the redeployment of all the 458 workers to the two companies that took over the plant.
