Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Banking sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 0.66%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which rose 1.60% or 24 points to trade at 1523 at the close. Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) added 1.07% or 700 points to end at 66000 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was up 0.76% or 140 points to 18640 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp), which lost 2.45% or 32 points to trade at 1273 in late trade. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) declined 2.21% or 5.5 points to end at 243.0 and Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) shed 2.18% or 1330 points to 59670.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 195 to 146 and 106 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.05% or 0.02 to $43.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.48% or 0.22 to hit $45.73 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.04% or 0.55 to trade at $1317.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.11% to 3.7807, while EUR/ILS rose 0.08% to 4.2237.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 95.92.
