Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb), which rose 0.98% or 130 points to trade at 13390 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) added 0.93% or 120 points to end at 12960 and Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) was up 0.29% or 2.0 points to 681.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb), which lost 1.41% or 4.6 points to trade at 321.6 in late trade. COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb) declined 1.18% or 6.0 points to end at 503.0 and Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) shed 1.16% or 4.5 points to 384.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 89 to 67 and 5 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.84% or 1.11 to $61.31 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.41% or 0.92 to hit $65.80 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.40% or 4.80 to trade at $1193.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 2.13% to 6.6798, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4592.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.76% at 95.81.
