Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 2.43% or 280.0 points to trade at 11800.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 1.65% or 1000.0 points to end at 61700.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was up 1.18% or 50.0 points to 4280.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 2.07% or 190.0 points to trade at 9010.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.09% or 35.0 points to end at 3175.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 0.85% or 240.0 points to 27920.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 17 to 11 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.59% or 0.89 to $152.27 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 1.69% or 36.00 to hit $2092.00 , while the February Gold contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1189.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.37% to 2930.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.90% to 933.78.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.04% at 100.56.
