Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Public Services, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB), which rose 5.90% or 105.0 points to trade at 1885.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 4.98% or 640.0 points to end at 13500.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 1.76% or 160.0 points to 9260.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Isagen SA (CN:ISG), which lost 12.06% or 480.0 points to trade at 3500.0 in late trade. Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) declined 2.13% or 560.0 points to end at 25740.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 2.00% or 50.0 points to 2450.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 9 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.57% or 3.82 to $152.57 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 1.56% or 44.00 to hit $2856.00 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.48% or 6.25 to trade at $1316.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.59% to 2919.77, while BRL/COP fell 0.82% to 891.04.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 95.77.
