AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Dutch industrial firm VDL Groep said on Thursday it will scrap 2,000 jobs at VDL Nedcar, representing most of the division's remaining workers.
NedCar has been shedding jobs since its main customer BMW ended a production contract. The new round of layoffs mean NedCar will retain only 450 employees as of March 2024.
