Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology, Utilities and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.80%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which rose 1.38% or 0.34 points to trade at 25.05 at the close. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) added 0.95% or 0.38 points to end at 40.34 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 0.79% or 0.060 points to 7.670 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V), which lost 5.30% or 1.13 points to trade at 20.20 in late trade. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) declined 3.40% or 0.190 points to end at 5.400 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) shed 2.90% or 0.078 points to 2.610.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 108 to 54 and 16 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for April delivery was down 4.08% or 1.40 to $32.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 4.04% or 1.33 to hit $31.60 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 0.50% or 6.10 to trade at $1232.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.18% to 1.1127, while EUR/GBP rose 0.18% to 0.7759.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 96.67.
