Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 4.82% or 26.0 points to trade at 565.0 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 3.70% or 41.0 points to end at 1150.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 2.91% or 7.8 points to 275.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 1.49% or 6.2 points to trade at 409.8 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 0.96% or 2.4 points to end at 248.1 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) shed 0.78% or 4.0 points to 506.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 98 to 50 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.91% or 1.43 to $47.68 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.95% or 1.50 to hit $49.38 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.20% or 2.75 to trade at $1343.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.08% to 6.5767, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4427.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 94.54.
