Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 3.94% or 4.20 points to trade at 110.70 at the close. Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa) added 1.11% or 1.3 points to end at 118.9 and SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb) was up 0.99% or 1.5 points to 152.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Modern Times Group MTG AB ser. B (ST:MTGBs), which lost 4.24% or 11.0 points to trade at 248.4 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 3.22% or 1.06 points to end at 31.86 and Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) shed 2.31% or 6.0 points to 254.3.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 285 to 270 and 7 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.96% or 0.43 to $44.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.39% or 0.18 to hit $47.80 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.30% or 3.50 to trade at $1166.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.28% to 9.3992, while USD/SEK fell 0.09% to 8.4984.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.36% at 96.83.
