Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 1.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA), which rose 1.20% or 90.0 points to trade at 7580.0 at the close. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 16.5 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was down 0.14% or 20.0 points to 13780.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which lost 6.04% or 110.0 points to trade at 1710.0 in late trade. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) declined 3.09% or 300.0 points to end at 9400.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 2.83% or 170.0 points to 5830.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 25 to 3 and 1 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 1.70% or 2.00 to $119.62 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 3.07% or 87.50 to hit $2766.50 , while the April Gold contract rose 0.09% or 1.00 to trade at $1129.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 2.01% to 3395.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.32% to 850.90.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 98.84.
