Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Construction & Building Materials and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Delta Holding S.A (CS:DHO), which rose 5.89% or 1.47 points to trade at 26.40 at the close. Fenie Brossette (CS:FBR) added 4.89% or 5.50 points to end at 117.90 and BMCI (CS:BMCI) was up 4.20% or 25 points to 620 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Holcim Maroc SA (CS:HOL), which lost 5.91% or 136 points to trade at 2164 in late trade. Snep (CS:SNP) declined 5.23% or 5.80 points to end at 105.00 and Disway (CS:DWAY) shed 4.22% or 7.95 points to 180.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 16 and 4 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.89% or 0.87 to $45.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.16% or 0.56 to hit $48.33 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.41% or 4.50 to trade at $1104.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.20% to 10.9390, while USD/MAD fell 0.28% to 9.6515.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.35% at 95.22.
