Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Invest Companies & Other Finance, Software & Computer Services and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares lost 0.01%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Colorado (CS:COL), which rose 8.65% or 5.57 points to trade at 69.95 at the close. Involys (CS:INV) added 6.40% or 8.00 points to end at 133.00 and Maghreb Oxygene (CS:OXYG) was up 5.96% or 7.45 points to 132.45 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cartier Saada (CS:CRS), which lost 9.14% or 2.33 points to trade at 23.15 in late trade. Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) declined 5.78% or 8.10 points to end at 132.00 and Taslif (CS:TSF1) shed 5.71% or 1.60 points to 26.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 24 to 18 and 5 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.00% or 0.90 to $45.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.49% or 0.71 to hit $48.23 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.41% or 5.01 to trade at $1219.71 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.29% to 11.0030, while USD/MAD rose 0.20% to 9.6431.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 95.48.
