Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Consumer Goods and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 2.09% or 4.70 points to trade at 230.00 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 1.86% or 0.68 points to end at 37.23 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.17% or 0.8 points to 65.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which lost 1.52% or 2.30 points to trade at 148.60 in late trade. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 1.48% or 0.50 points to end at 33.22 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) shed 1.32% or 1.40 points to 104.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 385 to 301 and 95 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.80% or 0.35 to $43.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.98% or 0.45 to hit $45.57 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.21% or 2.63 to trade at $1246.13 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.13% to 9.7667, while USD/SEK fell 0.21% to 8.7640.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 97.38.
