Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 1.90% or 16.5 points to trade at 886.0 at the close. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) added 1.46% or 1.50 points to end at 104.00 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was up 1.21% or 1.10 points to 92.05 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which lost 5.44% or 8.10 points to trade at 140.80 in late trade. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 3.65% or 1.25 points to end at 33.00 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) shed 3.05% or 1.16 points to 36.85.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 415 to 292 and 69 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $47.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.24% or 0.12 to hit $50.58 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 6.85 to trade at $1250.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.07% to 9.6284, while USD/SEK rose 0.15% to 8.8161.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 98.91.
