Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.82%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb), which rose 10.78% or 8.44 points to trade at 86.76 at the close. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 2.57% or 2.85 points to end at 113.55 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 2.09% or 1.70 points to 81.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which lost 8.07% or 0.56 points to trade at 6.44 in late trade. Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) declined 5.00% or 9.80 points to end at 186.20 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) shed 4.44% or 7.70 points to 165.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 432 to 333 and 84 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 4.93% or 3.64 to $70.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 4.73% or 3.66 to hit $73.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 18.70 to trade at $2,684.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.35% to 11.32, while USD/SEK fell 0.26% to 10.39.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 102.97.
