Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 3.87% or 16.30 points to trade at 437.60 at the close. Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) added 3.58% or 8.10 points to end at 234.40 and Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) was up 1.33% or 11.00 points to 835.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb), which lost 17.47% or 12.90 points to trade at 60.80 in late trade. Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) declined 4.87% or 7.50 points to end at 146.70 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) shed 3.98% or 5.50 points to 131.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 433 to 334 and 62 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.14% or 1.33 to $60.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.05% or 1.33 to hit $63.46 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.65% or 21.79 to trade at $3,325.91 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.21% to 10.95, while USD/SEK rose 0.35% to 9.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 98.88.
