Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Telecoms and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ABB Ltd (ST:ABB), which rose 1.09% or 1.9 points to trade at 175.9 at the close. Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) added 0.99% or 0.46 points to end at 46.99 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken A (ST:SEBa) was up 0.81% or 0.65 points to 81.05 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which lost 8.05% or 2.46 points to trade at 28.10 in late trade. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) declined 5.52% or 12.0 points to end at 205.2 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) shed 1.72% or 2.2 points to 126.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 306 to 259 and 48 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.53% or 0.26 to $49.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.87% or 0.43 to hit $49.16 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.63% or 7.65 to trade at $1212.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.01% to 9.2721, while USD/SEK rose 0.52% to 8.3256.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.38% at 95.50.
