Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 4.82%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 8.76% or 0.28 points to trade at 3.54 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) added 7.33% or 10.30 points to end at 150.00 and Investor AB ser. B (ST:INVEb) was up 6.91% or 17.60 points to 271.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which added 1.45% or 0.50 points to trade at 33.60 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 2.02% or 5.40 points to end at 273.10 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) gained 2.31% or 2.40 points to 106.10.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 698 to 106 and 42 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 4.72% or 2.94 to $59.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 4.20% or 2.75 to hit $62.73 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 3.12% or 96.14 to trade at $3,175.54 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 1.08% to 11.03, while USD/SEK fell 1.06% to 9.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.79% at 100.79.
