Gold prices fall amid Trump tariff extension, waning rate cut bets
Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Industrials and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which rose 4.96% or 24.20 points to trade at 511.40 at the close. ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) added 2.03% or 6.20 points to end at 311.40 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was up 1.99% or 3.70 points to 189.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sinch AB (ST:SINCH), which lost 2.83% or 0.76 points to trade at 26.07 in late trade. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) declined 2.38% or 1.40 points to end at 59.10 and Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) shed 1.36% or 0.08 points to 6.09.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 414 to 340 and 80 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.92% or 0.58 to $63.43 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.89% or 0.58 to hit $65.44 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.03% or 35.18 to trade at $3,364.02 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.30% to 10.96, while USD/SEK rose 0.15% to 9.58.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 98.80.
