Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Technology and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa), which rose 1.82% or 4.70 points to trade at 263.30 at the close. Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) added 1.62% or 1.40 points to end at 88.90 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was up 1.40% or 2.40 points to 169.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb), which lost 4.84% or 2.10 points to trade at 40.90 in late trade. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) declined 1.86% or 0.07 points to end at 3.49 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) shed 1.66% or 25.00 points to 1,477.50.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 418 to 324 and 85 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.35% or 0.24 to $68.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.21% or 0.15 to hit $72.22 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 13.01 to trade at $3,057.01 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.68% to 10.82, while USD/SEK fell 0.79% to 10.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 103.72.
